Questions Guests Ask Before Going Up
Before you press the call button, a few practical questions tend to come up. These are the ones hotel guests raise with us most often, answered as clearly as we can. If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp and we will reply personally.
Q·01
Is it possible to book a few days before my stay?
Yes, and it is a good idea if your heart is set on one particular companion or if your hotel is outside Amsterdam. Send us your arrival date, hotel and preferred time, and we will confirm availability. A short message on the day itself keeps everything on track, especially if your flight or meetings shift. Last-minute requests are welcome too, and on quieter evenings they are often easy to accommodate.
Q·02
What if the companion I chose is not available?
It happens, particularly on busy weekend evenings. We tell you straight away rather than keeping you waiting, and we can suggest one or two companions with a similar style or personality, often based in the same district. You are never obliged to accept an alternative. If you would rather choose again yourself, the directory is always up to date, and you can message us with a new name at any time.
Q·03
Which companions live closest to my hotel?
Each companion has a home district, shown on her card. If you are staying on the canal ring, look first at Amsterdam Centrum and the Jordaan. Near the museums, the Vondelpark or the Zuidas, Oud-Zuid is closest, and De Pijp suits hotels near the Amstel and the RAI. Choosing someone nearby tends to shorten the wait, although any companion can travel across the city if you have your heart set on her.
Q·04
Can a companion visit my hotel near the airport or in another city?
Yes. Airport hotels at Schiphol are covered, as are hotels in Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam. Your companion travels from Amsterdam, so these bookings need more notice, and the travel arrangement is confirmed on WhatsApp together with the arrival time. Each area page describes typical journey times, the hotel districts and what to consider before you reserve.
Q·05
The lift in my hotel only works with a room key. What should I do?
Many hotels restrict their lifts to guests in the evening. The simplest solution is to meet your companion in the lobby and ride up together, which looks entirely natural to hotel staff. We let you know when she is a few minutes away, so you can be waiting downstairs as she walks in. If you would rather she comes up alone, tell us whether reception can call the lift for visitors.
Q·06
Can she join me for dinner before we go upstairs?
Certainly. A dinner date is one of our longer formats and is arranged on request. Tell us the restaurant or your hotel's dining room and the time of your table, and we confirm the details and the arrangement on WhatsApp. Your companion will be dressed for the occasion and is comfortable in any setting, from a relaxed canal-side bistro to a formal dining room with white tablecloths.
Q·07
Can I ask her to wear something particular?
You are welcome to mention a preference, such as smart evening wear for a dinner or something relaxed for a quiet night in. Every companion has her own sense of style, described on her profile, and she will always dress elegantly and appropriately for a hotel setting. Requests are discussed when you book and accommodated wherever possible, within the bounds of good taste.
Q·08
Which language will we speak?
All of our companions speak English, which is also the language we use for every reservation conversation. It makes the evening easy for international travellers, whatever their home country. If another language matters to you, mention it when you message, and you will get a straight answer rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Q·09
Is a serviced apartment or holiday rental possible instead of a hotel?
Our service is designed around hotels, where a visitor crossing reception is entirely ordinary and your companion knows what to expect. Other types of accommodation are considered case by case. Please tell us exactly where you are staying when you message, including the type of building, so we can confirm whether a visit is possible before anything is booked.
Q·10
How is payment handled?
Payment is explained in your WhatsApp or Telegram conversation when the booking is confirmed, so you know exactly what to expect before your companion sets off and there is nothing to discuss when she arrives. The only published figure is our starting rate of €180 per hour. The rates page explains how longer formats, dinners and overnights are agreed.
Q·11
I am running late. Can the arrival time move?
Let us know on WhatsApp as soon as you can. If you are still at the airport, stuck in traffic or held up in a meeting, we can often move your companion's arrival to a later time, subject to her schedule. A little warning goes a long way, particularly for hotels outside Amsterdam where she may already be travelling.
Q·12
How do I change or cancel a reservation?
Write to us in the same WhatsApp conversation as early as you can. A change of time or hotel is usually simple to arrange, and early notice means your companion has not yet set off. We only ask that you keep us informed, as a courtesy to her. Guests who cancel repeatedly at the last moment may find we are unable to accept future reservations.
Q·13
What do you expect from guests?
Courtesy, above all. Guests must be 21 or older, in a fit state to enjoy good company and respectful towards their companion throughout. Our service is companionship only, and a companion may end a visit if she is treated disrespectfully or feels uncomfortable. Most guests never need to be told any of this, and they are exactly the guests our companions look forward to meeting.
